The Riverside Philharmonic will perform a show titled “Boats Against the Current” on Saturday, Oct. 22, in downtown Riverside.

Its 2022-23 season will continue with a performance that will include 18th Century music from Mozart and a composition by its Musical Director Tomasz Golka, a news release states.

The 7:30 p.m. concert is at the Henry W. Coil Sr. and Alice Edna Coil School for the Arts.

The show also will include an art exhibit of landscapes by Riverside artist Patricia Sablak Korzec. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The concert will feature Mozart’s “Serenade No. 10 for Winds in B-flat Major,” which features the recognizable “Gran Partita” popularized in the Oscar-winning film “Amadeus.”
