Upon further examination, San Bernardino County officials determined that bones found on a Loma Linda lot were not human remains, as previously thought.

The remains were determined to be pig bones after they were found May 19 under brush at the edge of the yard near a home in the 11400 block of San Timoteo Canyon Road, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s spokesperson Mara Rodriguez said Wednesday, May 22. A person searching the property first discovered the remains, which were described as various bones.

No additional information was available. It was unclear how the bones ended up there, and no connection was made between the property and remains.
