The Cheech is turning 2 years old and the public is invited to its party.

The of The Riverside Art Museum, which , will host a free celebration.

The free Saturday, June 22, event — called the Arte Nuestra Community Festival — is scheduled for noon to 7 p.m.

It will take place on Mission Inn Avenue, from the Riverside Art Museum to The Cheech, a news release states. The festival will include performers, artists, musicians, food vendors and community organizations from across the Inland Empire.

The museum proposed by comedian and actor Cheech Marin has seen nearly 100,000 visitors, the release states. More than 10,000 students have taken in school tours and art classes.

The museum is downtown at 3851 Mission Inn Ave., in Riverside’s remodeled former library.
