Biden had no choice but to quit his run for re-election
When at first it was recommended by many Democrats and their allies that Biden forego his bid for the Democratic nomination, Biden heaved his chest and boldly declared that he would not quit. Yet, as days passed and the battle cry for his resignation increased by Democrats and power makers such as Obama and Pelosi, Biden caved in, proclaiming that his decision was for the good of America and the Democratic Party, a predictable statement.
Only a strong man can bear the force of high-powered pressure. And without this support group, he crumbled. He could not stand alone. The nomination of Harris is also predictable, in spite of her being the worst possible candidate. But Democratic ideology demands a female of color, and Harris fits the bill.

Biden and his party addressed this responsibly
President Biden withdrew from the 2024 presidential election in a selfless act of patriotism. He put his country first. He and his party addressed this crisis responsibly.
No Democrat or their family was threatened or politically ostracized by other Democrats during this time, and I did not hear anyone labeled with a nasty moniker. Democrats can argue with reason rather than threats and defamation.
I would rather be governed by them. Though there are vehement disagreements between Democrats and Republicans over divisive issues like immigration, abortion, gun rights, et al., we must agree that we need to be governed by those who will preserve our institutions, support other democratic countries and recognize the dignity of all humanity.

Joe Biden did the right thing by stepping down
However, he neither acted in a fair, timely or patriotic manner. He left, kicking and screaming, and only when Nancy Pelosi finally said, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.” Sadly, the Biden inner circle, the media, Dem politicians and pundits and Kamala Harris herself were all complicit in the charade that was his alleged campaign.
