Super Bowl or Swiftie Bowl? Fans react to Taylor Swift’s game day arrival

The superstar singer managed to make it to Las Vegas in time for the big game after playing her Eras Tour in Tokyo the day before.

On Saturday, Feb. 10, was across the globe, playing her sold-out in Tokyo, Japan.

But by Sunday, Feb. 11, she was in Las Vegas, Nevada, rooting for her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the in the against the San Francisco 49ers.

It was the flight the world was watching. Major outlets were doing the math about how actually had more than enough time to get there with the time change and her private jet.

Some fans decided to make an event of Swift’s journey and turned it into a Santa-tracking-like experience.

On game day, Swift wasn’t just getting shoutouts from the NFL, she also got some recognition during the Puppy Bowl. Two puppies were named after Swift and Kelce or “Taylor Sniffed” and “Travis Klawce.”

When Swift did arrive to Allegiant Stadium, she didn’t come alone. The “Anti-Hero” singer was joined by her dad, Scott Swift, her mom Andrea aka “Mama Swift”, Blake Lively, Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone.

Kelce’s family also joined Swift in their suite including Donna and Ed Kelce otherwise known as Mama and Papa Kelce, as well as Travis’ brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie.

Before the game had begun, #SwiftieBowl was already trending on X, formerly Twitter. Fans were using the hashtag to not only share their love for Swift, but also their gratitude for her impact on the sport and for influencing many of her fans’ new interest in the game. In addition, Taylor Swift’s name was trending, with over 394,000 posts before the coin flip.

And yes, Kelce was “ready for it.”
