Community members and local leaders gathered Sunday evening, March 24, for an interfaith dinner at the .

The is a meal that breaks the fast, traditionally around sunset, during the holy month of Ramadan that serves as a time for communal prayer and reflection in the Muslim faith.

The event was designed to bring community members together for prayer and a meal of traditional Middle Eastern food, according to , a member of the Redlands Area Interfaith Council.
