The San Bernardino County Fair kicks off its 2024 season this weekend with “Truckloads of Fun.”

That’s right, as the LA County Fair winds down this weekend at Fairplex in Pomona, the San Bernardino County Fair gets underway for its two-weekend run in Victorville, bringing animals, concerts, traditional fair food, carnival rides and more.

This marks its 77th season and this year’s theme is “Truckloads of Fun.” In keeping with that theme, the “truckload special” will cost only $20 to get everyone in your vehicle wearing a seatbelt into the fair. But bring cash, as that is a cash-only deal, paid upon entrance, according to the .

Gates open at 2 p.m. Saturday for the 2024 season. Hours are 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 25-27 and May 31-June 2.

Carnival wristbands cost $55 to $85.

This year’s fair will feature “strolling entertainers, clowns, jugglers, live bands, and animals” and is also “bringing back” some of the favorites from year’s past, the website says.

Opening weekend brings the High Point Concrete Dirt Series, which will feature Monster Truck Mayhem on Saturday, May 25, A Demolition Derby on Sunday, May 26, and bull riding on Monday, May 27.

Music acts move in during weekend two, which will feature tribute bands Don’t Push and New Doubt on Friday, May 31, country artist Matt Stell on Saturday, June 1, and closing out the run on Sunday, June 2, is Latin band Banda Macho.

The San Bernardino County Fair is held at 14800 7th St., Victorville.
