John Michael Albrecht OBITUARY

John Michael Albrecht was born in Bettendorf, Iowa on March 7, 1952. His parents, John and Vaughn Albrecht, both World War II Veterans and public school teachers, moved their three young children to Rialto to raise their family in California. John attended Eisenhower High School. As a teenager, John worked at Nervous Ned’s Gas Station in Rialto. He worked most of his adult life selling truck parts as the owner of Rialto Truck Parts and for P&S Truck Center. He was a motivated, hardworking salesman, with a remarkable memory for details. John contributed to the success of P&S Truck Center. He truly loved his job and always said that he would never retireand he never did! The greatest joy in John’s life was his loving sons, sweet, caring daughter, and wonderful grandchildren. His children, Jeremy (Jacquelyn), Joel (Carly), Justin (Jenna), Jamie (Thor), Joey, Lorissa, stepdaughter and grandchildren, Hunter, Noah, Trevor, Nathan, Jaxson, Astrid, and Gwen brought him tremendous happiness. “Papa John” was proud of his family. His time with his family was the most meaningful and important part of his life. John had a great sense of humor and was known for his timely witty comebacks and “one-liners.” He was fun to be around and could make people laugh! John was selfless and always there to provide support for his family, friends, and those in need. John was a lifetime Motocross enthusiast, and this love of Motocross was inherited by his children and grandchildren. John also loved all animals, including strays and wild animals, especially dogs and horses.John was predeceased by his son, Joey, and his longtime partner, Christy Lee Rennegarbe. John passed away surrounded by family members at Moreno Valley Kaiser Hospital, due to complications from a gallbladder surgery on January 21, 2024.John Michael is survived by his caring sister, Vicki Albrecht Turner (David), and his devoted brother Edd Albrecht (Pam), as well as Leslie Lockwood, dear friend, his four children, seven grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. John Michael Albrecht was loved and will be forever in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 16th at 11:00 AM. First Lutheran Church 1207 W.
