Marvin “Marv” Weetman passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife Ann Weetman, Michelle Weetman, Eric and Stacy Weetman, Robin (Weetman) and Stephen Romero along with his four grandchildren.Marv was born in Corning, Iowa and spent the majority of his adult life in Southern California. After serving in the US Army, Marv completed a masters degree in physical education and coached football at the University of Washington and Cal Poly Pomona before becoming a State Farm Insurance agent in Upland, California where Marv was actively involved in church, Kiwanis and local youth sports. Later, Marv and Ann moved to San Clemente, California before retiring to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Marv loved golf and travel, and cherished time with family and friends.A private burial with military honors will be held at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, and friends are invited to join a celebration of life on Saturday, March 2 in Post Falls, Idaho.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Firefighter Stairclimb in support of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society https://www.llswa.org/site/TR/LLSWA/llswaFF?px=1989416&pg=personal&fr_id=1750
