After celebrating her 96th birthday on April 1st at her home in Upland, CA, Mary P. Nilio passed away on April 6, 2024, at San Antonio Regional Hospital. Born April 1, 1928, in Italy, Mary came to the United States in 1948. She married Domenick Nilio and the two celebrated 61 years of marriage together until his passing in 2009. Mary enjoyed entertaining, was a great cook, an amazing seamstress, and a special lady to all who knew her. She was a long-time member of St. Anthony’s church in Upland. Mary is survived by her brother, Tony, of Illinois, two nieces also of Illinois, 3 grandnieces, several cousins and second cousins in the United States and Italy.Services will be held at Forest Lawn Covina at 12:00 pm on April 27, 2024, with burial to follow in the Mausoleum where she will, once again, be with Domenick.
