Oren Pike passed away on February 20, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1928 in Athol, Massachusetts where he grew up and then served 2 years in the U.S. Army. He moved west with his family, opened a number of businesses and then retired but not for long. He started driving a school bus, met his wife Barbara there and then they started their own charter bus company called Turnpike Charter. They ended that business with Covid and he finally retired. He passed away quietly at home with his wife Barbara, was preceded in death by son Gregory Pike of Big Bear, CA, and daughter Peggy Napoleon of San Bernardino, CA, and grandson David Skimin of Kodiak, AK, and is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. Private interment at Riverside National Cemetery.
